Abstract paintings of Jose Ma. Palacin expresses the most important in art creation, reducing it with colourful, formal and structural aspects.

He emphasizes abstract forms, distancing it from reality and uses visual language with colours and geometrical lines to create artworks. Therefore, the composition can live without visual references from reality.

His artworks express strength throughout primary but also secondary colours.

Even if he has a short time available to paint, he succeeds to express feelings throughout his paintings.

Brushstrokes are detached and produce a very pleasant visual effect.
Sometimes, he uses a spatula in addition to the brush to paint different results.
He works with specific colours for each artwork, which is very interesting.
The result of his work is shown more by colours than by quality.
