Gela Mikava is a Georgian Visual artist. He was born in Zugdidi on November 16, 1995, in a family of IDPs from Abkhazia. Gela won his first art competition at the age of 6 when he drew the image of the Coat of Arms of Georgia with chalk. Gela Mikava's abstract art is characterized by distinctive shapes, vibrant colors, and expressive textures.He is most recognized for her work in painting, video, photography, installation, and sculpture. Her artwork often explores social and political issues, such as gender equality, civil rights, and the displacement of people. He has had her artwork included in numerous solo and group exhibitions and biennials worldwide, including in prestigious venues such as the Museum of Modern Art and the Venice Biennale.
