Carlos Arriaga. Very urbanite, very much interested in Madrid. Also, in New York and London, cities where he received much of his artistic training.
His field of artistic work has always been around the experimentation between painting and photography with very different techniques and subjects.
Since 1995 he made many, big oil works on canvas, almost always reinterpreting his photographs of flowers, people and architecture.

Carlos Arriaga. Very urbanite, very much interested in Madrid. Also, in New York and London, cities where he received much of his artistic training.
His field of artistic work has always been around the experimentation between painting and photography with very different techniques and subjects.
Since 1995 he made many, big oil works on canvas, almost always reinterpreting his photographs of flowers, people and architecture.
Photographer from a young age, he has worked for the best magazines and advertising agencies of national level and has made professional trips to more than 30 countries of the world.
He also has been a director of photography of several documentaries and commercial films.
He has worked in parallel with painting and photography until in 2015 he discovered the technique of oil painting on black and white photography, at last his two passions united in one. Now he dedicates himself exclusively to painting.
He currently lives and works in Torrelodones, Madrid, with his wife and four children.
