Ka’ak is a traditional Lebanese thick bread that is coated with sesame seeds. They’re baked into a teardrop shape with a whole in the middle from which they’re hung on the wooden dowels of the carts from which they’re sold by street vendors. The cries of the mobile street vendors are almost as distinctive as the foods they sell especially on the beach.
