Life Begins

One of my favourite paintings.  The feeling of deep and expansive inspiration lasted for many hours while doing this one.  It is almost fractal-like in its quality, perhaps reminiscent of the beginning of biological life, the birth of new landforms on the Earth’s surface, or origins of a star in a galaxy far away.
