Anthony was born in Manchester (1976) and always had an interest in the creative arts, including water colour painting, photography, design and sculpture. Having completed an art foundation in 1996, Anthony obtained his BA (hons) in Furniture and Product Design in the year 2000. After graduating, Anthony decided to take a 1 year sabbatical traveling Asia and Australia and this is where his true love of landscape photography started. He invested in a Canon digital camera and having learnt his Photoshop skills while at University his portfolio and skills started to grow. He established his own photographic business selling canvas / photographic prints in 2003 as well as publishing work in UK magazines such as Digital Photographer, Practical Photography and Amateur Photographer. Anthony turned his attention to a separate career in Sales working in London and eventually moving to Dubai in 2011 to further his career, however, photography was never far away. In recent years Anthony has heavily invested in the right equipment, building a recognizable style using ND filtered long exposures and simplified colour / black and white landscapes. Recent photographic locations include Jordan, New York, UK, Italy, Cape Town. Recently Anthony has been carrying a project called “Mono” which depicts the UAE in Black and White and gives the viewer a different perspective of the ‘bright lights’ it’s renowned for.
